The purpose of AOLP is to support the professional lighting designer and installer in accordance with the following beliefs:- That the consumer is better served when landscape lighting is designed and installed by a certified professional.
- That the industry, and ultimately the consumer, benefit when adhering to the business-to-business model.
- That professional designations, such as COLD or CLVLT, are essential to achieving the above stated objectives.
