The goal of AOLP’s Lighting Awards is to honor and promote professional excellence in outdoor lighting design and to recognize industry achievement, to create greater public awareness of the benefits of professionally designed and installed lighting systems, and to provide opportunities for learning through visual representation of excellence in outdoor lighting design.
Now is your chance to show your skills in outdoor lighting by entering the 2019 AOLP Lighting Awards! It is one of the easiest and least expensive ways to promote yourself and your business.

Multiple entries in multiple categories are permitted!
- Residential (small, large and XL)
- Commercial
- Feature-Focused
- Outdoor Living
- Holiday Lighting
There are two options available for providing client release:
- Obtain your client’s signature on the Site Owner Authorization.
- Provide AOLP with a copy of your work contract that contains verbiage releasing the project for submission in the contest. (Exact verbiage is on the awards Site Owner Authorization section of the awards packet.)
The deadline for entry in all categories, except Holiday Lighting, is December 1, 2018. Holiday Lighting entries are due by December 15, 2018.
NOTE: Award winners will be announced at Illuminate ’19 in Scottsdale, AZ, Jan. 31 – Feb. 2. The time required to process and order awards will not allow us to offer entry deadline extensions.
