This putting green was lit top to bottom. The cups have color changing modules which allow players to choose different games to play based on the color of each hole. The green is surrounded by tropical vegetation and even goes around a tree planted in the turf. We utilized plants and trees around the green to create ambient lighting and to also down light, making putting possible at all times of the night.

This lighting design enhances a beautiful Dutch Colonial home in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, set on an acre of land surrounded by gardens and woods. The home features high-end finishes, but the focal point of the project is the backyard, where lighting plays a key role in showcasing the architecture and landscaping. Uplighting and roof lighting were applied to the reclaimed wood-lined façade, and the design extended seamlessly into the backyard, bringing both functional and aesthetic value to the space.

Upon arrival, the multi-story façade, with its cedar panels and Dutch-style architecture, is illuminated by ground-level uplights, casting dramatic shadows on the overhangs. The stone retaining wall and front yard plantings are softly lit, creating a balanced, inviting scene. Roof lights over the entry accentuate the dormers, maintaining symmetry, while uplighting the portico emphasizes its verticality and intricate details. In the backyard, the pool house features downlighting and pendant fixtures to highlight the wood textures and create a cozy atmosphere. Pathways are softly lit by bollards, and trees along the bocce court and floating hillside steps are illuminated to guide and frame the space. Large trees surrounding the pool area are uplighted, contrasting with the shadowed forest, while underwater lighting creates a glowing focal point. The Weeping Willow, framed by a pergola and lit with well lights, completes the serene design.

The Carlyle house is a foundational house to America. It was commissioned in 1749 and completed in 1751. John Carlyle married Sarah Fairfax (daughter of Lord Fairfax). This was the home they built together. The colonial Governors and the Grandest Congress of England held meetings in this home before America's independence. We were selected to provide lighting for their gardens. These gardens are a touring site in historic Alexandria. The lighting design allows tourists to enjoy the gardens in the evening.

This lighting design was accomplished primarily with down lighting. The historic boxwoods were lighted with over 25 downlights to softly illuminate the pathway and provide lighting in the garden beds. We then up-light the Crape Myrtles. The gazebo was in the center of the garden. We chose to downlight the gazebo to ensure a soft lighting and not draw too much attention to the structure.

Nestled within the prestigious Shady Canyon Golf Community, this extraordinary estate boasts the only private vineyard in the area, making it a one-of-a-kind haven for entertaining and relaxation. The property’s thoughtfully designed outdoor space has transformed it into a true entertainer’s dream.

The family’s outdoor sanctuary is centered around breathtaking views of their vineyard and pool area. A newly designed seating area, just outside the frame of this photo, offers a tranquil setting where the family often dines alfresco. Enhancing their outdoor experience is the recent addition of dimmable downlights installed on the marble surfaces. These lights not only illuminate the area but also create a striking visual effect, adding elegance and functionality to the space.

The outdoor lighting design seamlessly blends aesthetic appeal with practicality, allowing the family to enjoy their space well into the evening. The dimmable lighting provides versatility—whether hosting an intimate dinner or a lively gathering, the ambiance can be adjusted to suit the occasion. This enhancement has brought the family closer to their natural surroundings, making their vineyard and pool area a central part of their lifestyle.

This design embodies the seamless integration of vision and craftsmanship. Inspired by the owner's growing excitement after seeing the possibilities showcased in our previous projects, several design elements were added to elevate the space—particularly on the upper-level balconies.

The challenge was clear: to implement these enhancements while maintaining a clean, polished aesthetic. The "as-is" installation required careful attention to detail, especially when it came to concealing wiring—a task that often demands ingenuity in execution.

The result speaks for itself. The lighting blends so naturally into the architecture that it feels as though it has been there since the very beginning. This final photograph captures the harmony of design and function, a testament to the artistry and precision behind every decision.
